High performance, low light level sensitivity, special
spectral response and more with the ICCD camera (Intensified CCD
Low Light Level Camera).
The ICCD intensified CCD video camera is custom designed and
features the latest in CCD technology. Choose from a selection
of state-of-the-art image intensifier options and maximize the
specific performance characteristics required for your unique
viewing application.
ICCD camera vs. SIT camera
The ICCD intensified CCD camera outperforms the commonly used
SIT (silicon intensified target) camera. Depending on the choice
of intensifier, the ICCD intensified camera is from 100 to 500
times more sensitive and can virtually see in starlight. The ICCD
camera also offers greater blue/green spectral response. In addition,
the ICCD intensified camera is highly resistant to shock and vibration,
it is smaller in size and weight, and it consumes less power.
The ICCD intensified cameras are designed to be mounted to a
fixed surface or a pan and tilt system. These cameras complement
the PT-10 positioner from
our family of pan and tilt
units to constitute a turn-key inspection system.
