CVS-III Convertible Viewing System Controller

Several controller options are available to operate complete systems or individual components. Controllers are available for
use with cameras, lights, pan & tilts and rotators. All necessary functions are controlled with a single unit and a single MS connector is provided on the rear panel for connection of the control cable. GFI protected convenience outlets are available on the rear panel for connection of video monitors or other equipment. The enclosures for all standard controllers are constructed of aluminum with anodized and silkscreen control panels. Units can be supplied in a 19 inch rack-mountable configuration.

The CVS system controller is unique because it is designed to operate with both a color CCD camera as well as a monochrome radiation tolerant camera. The "smart" electronics detect which camera is connected to the system, reducing critical path equipment-swap time. The CVS controller also controls the pan & tilt and lights with the system.
