PAN AND TILTS & ROTATORS

ROS offers a complete product family of rugged pan and tilts and rotators for both underwater and in-air applications. Our pan and tilts have been field proven in the harshest environments for over 30 years.

Selecting the correct pan and tilt unit depends on the payload weight and output torque required by the application. The PT-5 miniature pan and tilts are good for moving a very light payload (< 5lbs) requiring low output torque. The PT-10 and PT-10-FB pan and tilts provide 10 lb-ft of output torque and will satisfy the requirements for many different applications including positioning RF antennas, cameras with external lights, and sonars. The PT-25 and PT-25-FB pan and tilts are designed to handle heavier payloads (< 100lbs) and are ideal for positioning underwater equipment in high current conditions, antennas in high wind conditions, and heavy duty cameras.

A new and advanced feature available in our family of pan and tilts and rotators is the ability for RS-485 / RS-232 computer control. By either using the ROS positioner GUI (graphical user interface) or the ROS communication protocol for custom software integration you can control unique features such as: real-time position feedback, variable rotation speed, variable braking, goto position command, and networkability of multiple pan and tilts.
