Miniature pan and tilts to remotely position camera
systems and other instrumentation in confined areas and harsh
environments.
The PT-5 miniature pan and tilts deliver 3 lb-ft
(4 N-m) of output
torque on each axis and accommodates payloads of up to 5 lbs (2.3
kg). The pan and tilts are equipped with low-maintenance, synchronous
24 VAC brushless motors and robotic grade harmonic gear reducers.
The PT-5 miniature pan and tilts were designed specifically with
radiation tolerant internal components and a corrosion resistant
sealed housing for nuclear applications. These features, along
with many others, comprise a fully rugged positioner, making this
miniature pan and tilt ideal for use in air, underwater, or in
other harsh environments.
The PT-5 miniature pan and tilts are available with a unique
spider-style connector assembly that connects the input and output
signals. The input "leg" of the spider connector comes
standard with an inline stainless steel connector. The three output
legs connect with two lights and a video camera, which enables
the pan and tilt unit to be used as part of an integrated inspection
system.
The PT-5 miniature pan and tilt complements the WDL-75
wet/dry light from our array of underwater
lights and a CE-X video camera
from our family of underwater cameras.
The PT-5 miniature pan and tilt unit is also an integral part
of the ROS Convertible Viewing System
(CVS) and SC-18 Shielded Camera
System.
