NUCLEAR AND UNDERWATER INSPECTION SYSTEMS
ROS offers complete inspection systems for nuclear, oceanographic,
and military applications. Our systems have been field proven in
the harshest environments for over 30 years.
The new versatile SuperView System combines a shielded stainless color zoom camera with a rugged pan/tilt and 75w spotlights. It's compact design allows for easy access in tight spaces such as around the jet pump area. This system is the perfect choice for all your PWR or BWR inspection needs.
For nuclear reactor vessel inspection we offer our new Convertible
Viewing System (CVS) that combines two systems in to one complete
system. The CVS is equipped with interchangeable cameras: a SC-18
shielded color camera for low to moderate radiation areas and
a RTC-3 radiation tolerant camera
for high radiation areas.
The Fuel Identification System (FIDS) is
used by numerous US nuclear power plants and dramatically reduces
core mapping operations time.
Both the FlangeBot and FOSAR
tool were developed in partnership with Westinghouse
Electric Company. FlangeBot is a wireless inspection robot that
is used to clean and inspect a nuclear reactor vessel's sealing
flange. The FOSAR tool is a unique system for under-core plate foreign
object search and retrieval.
We also offer complete systems for shallow water and deep water
inspections that include an underwater video camera, underwater
lights and pan and tilt.
To compliment our nuclear and underwater inspection systems, ROS
offers a complete line of underwater
video cameras, radiation tolerant
cameras, underwater lights,
pan and tilt units, and controllers.
